Do you suffer from dizziness with changes in position, such as rolling over in bed or getting up from a chair? Do you suffer from motion sickness? Have you experienced a serious car accident or concussion/head injury and are now suffering from dizziness, loss of balance, double vision, or other symptoms? 

Vestibular/concussion rehab is a specialized for of physical therapy intended to alleviate the problems caused by vestibular disorders/head injuries. It is an exercise-based program designed to reduce vertigo and dizziness, gaze instability, and balance deficits. Hands on techniques are also utilized.

The following conditions can impact the vestibular system:

  • Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BBPV)
  • Meniere"s disease
  • Infections
  • Head trauma including concussions
  • Aging
  • Motor vehicle accidents

Each patient will be evaluated by a physical therapist who will observe your balance, gait, head & eye movements, and any compensatory strategies. Once the evaluation is completed, your therapist will develop a complete treatment program including an individual exercise program to help manage symptoms of dizziness and improve balance and function.
